FAQs

What is your return policy?
The only returns accepted are if the item is damaged or defective. If upon receiving your item you notice that it has been impaired, please email photos and description of the damage to [email protected]
and either a refund for that item will be issued or a replacement shipped.

Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?
All meatals are tested for nickel (and if they have a reaction they will not be used). I use gold filled or sterling silver wire/chain for my base and clasps. Beads and bead caps are either 14k gold plated brass, (which contains copper) OR sterling silver. If you are sensitive to nickel and other metals, sometimes 14k gold plated brass won’t affect you but if you have an aggressive sensitivity, it’s not recommended to wear. Also, the gold plating can wear off over time. I am hoping to be able to move to all gold-filled beads and bead caps in the future.

Will my necklace/bracelet/earrings tarnish?
Over time, yes. As mentioned before, the beads and bead caps are gold plated brass and can tarnish if not cleaned or stored properly. You can find tutorials online but please remember that if you have a piece of jewelry with Japanese Cotton Pearls, DO NOT SUBMERGE IT IN ANY LIQUID, this will damage the pearls.

Where do you buy your materials?
A few different places really. Right now, I get beads and pendants from other artists (ebay, Etsy, etc.), wholesalers, and even amazon.

Why does your jewelry cost so much?Believe me when I say the cost of my jewelry was something I was stressing about, heavily. But, a friend told me “You are not China and that your artistic ability is worth more than the bare minimum price.” So I sat down and I calculated what each item costs to make, what all I have to do to make sure I get a sale, and have enough money to not only pay myself but to get more materials for more product.

Are you open to wholesale???
Yes! If you are interested in buying my items in bulk, please email me at [email protected] or click on the CONTACT tab at the top of the page. I would love to work with you.

Do you do custom orders?
Not at this time but it is something I am willing to do in the future provided I have enough materials.

Why are your flagship pieces inspired by William Shakespear’s work?
I’ve always loved making jewelry but I fell out of it for the longest time. I started work crew at different shows being put on at the Chesapeake Shakespear Company theater, and I was first inspired by A Mid-Summer Nights Dream, but the first pieces I made where the “Two House Holds” series, which are the Montagues VS the Capulets jewelry sets.
